Health Law & Ethics Teaching - 25th May 2010

McCrimmon Law has recently completed the health law & ethics course for overseas trained pharmacists.  Offered twice-yearly on behalf of the New Zealand College of Pharmacists the course is part of an overseas pharmacist's path to registration in New Zealand.

Topics covered included all the legal and ethical requirements pertinent to pharmacy practice.  Of particular interest to other health providers will be the extensive discussion on patient rights, provider obligations, privacy and ethical issues and registration and disciplinary processes.

If you or your organisation are thinking of organising a health law & ethics course we would be happy to discuss this with you with a view to providing presentations.
