Dr Fiona McCrimmon Barrister & Solicitor MBChB LLB(Hons) Honorary Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand
Dr Fiona McCrimmon is the principal of the firm. In addition to being a Barrister and Solicitor she is also qualfied in medicine so is especially well placed to provide expert advice to health professionals and health care organisations She established McCrimmon Law, a thriving practice operating nationwide, to provide specialist legal services to those operating in the health sector with regard to all commercial matters, healthcare law and medico legal services. The practice advises health sector businesses, provider organisations, charitable trusts, statutory bodies, incorporated societies and healthcare professionals of all disciplines.
Dr McCrimmon is an established specialist in all commercial and healthcare law matters. She leads the practice, which has an extensive client base across the country and has a wealth of experience as legal advisor to organisations, health practitioners, and their businesses on all matters.
She is advisor to several large organisations with business and professional interests in the health sector. She advises on contracting issues in the health sector, compliance advice, privacy matters, appropriate management of health information, the establishment of practices, charitable trusts and incorporated societies. commercial leases, franchises, employment matters, business structures and effective restructuring, compliance with regulatory and licensing requirements applicable to health professionals and businesses, complaints, competence reviews, disciplinary proceedings, registration issues, regulation and advertising of medicines and therapeutic products, and such like.
Dr McCrimmon serves on a variety of statutory bodies and committees in the health sector. She is a sought after speaker on health law and medico legal matters in addition to providing an extensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
Fiona has recently established a Pharmacy Recruitment Network (PRN) which provides assistance to pharmacists seeking new career opportunities, and to those pharmacies looking for new staff.

Grant Walker Barrister & Solicitor, LLB
Grant Walker is a Barrister and Solicitor, specialising in Employment Law.
Grant previously spent 10 years working for an employers' association. During this time Grant dealt on a daily basis with issues as varied as queries on payment for public holidays to serious misconduct investigations to collective negotiations for both public and private companies and small businesses in the not-for-profit and social sector. This decade of specialist work built on Grant's previous extensive experience in commercial and property law.
Grant is also an experienced mediator and facilitator and undertakes work throughout New Zealand.

Sue Prendergast Barrister & Solicitor, BA LLB RN ADN Clinical Teaching Certificate
Sue Prendergast, is a Barrister and Solicitor who is also a senior experienced nurse.
Sue specialises in legal services to the health sector. She has a particular interest in commercial matters and provides advice to business operating in the sector as well as advising on family trusts, wills, estate planning, Enduring Powers of Attorney, and relationship property matters.
Sue provides compliance advice to advertisers of therapeutic goods and medicines and advice on regulatory compliance to health providers on a wide range of matters.
Sue also undertakes a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate healthlaw teaching.

Dorothy (Dot) is our principal legal secretary and receptionist. She brings to the role an extensive background in senior secretarial and PA positions in the UK. Dot is able to assist with all enquiries, make sure clients speak to the appropriate people within the firm and ensure that urgent matters are attended to.
